The next book study

As part of our Mission to become like Saint Joseph, we’re going to continue to study books in areas that can help us to become better Catholic Fathers, Husbands, Sons and Brothers… and to grow Closer to Christ the King!

Tentative plan, from now until end of 2024 (For discussion with the men)

Our next book study will be the “The Power of Silence: Against the Dictatorship of Noise” by Cardinal Robert Sarah. Reading plan/start dates are tentative, but we would conclude the reading of the book with a 24 hour silent retreat at the villa madonna mid-summer with Mass, Adoration and confessions. In September, we’ll read St Augustine’s Confessions and conclude with a talk by Professor Murray LittleJohn for the men. Prof. LittleJohn is known for his devotion and academic study of St Augustine’s Confessions (specifically). Book link: https://rb.gy/4g90xq

For Advent 2024 (November/December), we’ll read together the book by St Louis Demontford: True Devotion to Mary: With Preparation for Total Consecration Book link: https://rb.gy/8jnkz3
