We were blessed to celebrate a beautiful Sodality Mass on Tuesday, November 5th, led by Father McGowan. In his homily, he urged us to strive for greater holiness, to be strong Catholic men of faith and courage who stand up for the Holy Name of Jesus and actively oppose blasphemy in our daily lives.
I would like to express my deep thanks to the men who make this special Mass possible every month:
- Father McGowan, for serving as our chaplain and attending to the needs of the Sodality.
- Our dedicated servers, past and present: Matthew Gunnarson, Dylan Capstick, Sébastien Cormier and Ryan Harley (Lector).
- Our choir members, past and present: Alex Driscoll, Gibson MacMillan, Joseph Desmond, and Mark McGillvary.
And a special thank you to His Excellency Bishop Christian Riesbeck and Father McRae, for graciously allowing us the use of the Cathedral every Tuesday evening at 8pm.
The Divine Praises (Laudes Divina):
Blessed be God.
Blessed be His Holy Name.
Blessed be Jesus Christ, true God and true Man.
Blessed be the Name of Jesus.
Blessed be His Most Sacred Heart.
Blessed be His Most Precious Blood.
Blessed be Jesus in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar.
Blessed be the Holy Ghost, the Paraclete.
Blessed be the great Mother of God, Mary most Holy.
Blessed be her Holy and Immaculate Conception.
Blessed be her Glorious Assumption.
Blessed be the name of Mary, Virgin and Mother.
Blessed be St. Joseph, her most chaste spouse.
Blessed be God in His Angels and in His Saints.
Amen.
May the heart of Jesus, in the Most Blessed Sacrament, be praised, adored, and loved with grateful affection, at every moment, in all the tabernacles of the world, even to the end of time. Amen.
